Always confirm that your chosen product meets the requirements of the funeral establishment, cemetery or crematorium. 01 · YOUR CHOICES In Ontario, you may purchase funeral supplies such as caskets, urns, monuments and grave markers from independent businesses. Confirm acceptance and specifications with the service provider before ordering. Review options from more than one provider. Ask about products, transportation, facilities, ceremonies and any additional services separately. Choose arrangements that reflect your family's wishes, traditions and budget. Ask for explanations before agreeing to optional services. 02 · PRICING Ontario licensed providers must provide price information before entering into a contract. Compare the complete cost of any package with the prices of the individual supplies and services it includes. 03 · INDEPENDENT PURCHASES Review dimensions, construction and suitability for burial or cremation. Coordinate with the funeral establishment or crematorium before ordering; confirm relevant requirements. Share the service location, contact details and required arrival time with your supplier. Ontario provides statutory cancellation protections for certain funeral, cemetery and cremation contracts; eligibility and refunds depend on the circumstances and supplies or services already provided. 05 · COMMON QUESTIONS Yes.
